North Shore Law member Susan Lampert was profiled in the Deerfield Review. The article, “Deerfield divorce litigator tries to settle cases outside the courtroom“, not only discusses Susan’s extensive experience in the courtroom, but also her perspective that litigation should be the last resort, not the first in a divorce case.
“Litigation is acrimonious, it’s nasty, it’s expensive,” said Lampert, who volunteers her time speaking and giving consultations at The Lilac Tree, an organization that provides education, support and guidance to women going through divorce. “And because it’s divorce, these are people who will always have to have a relationship if they have kids. So, it’s really a last resort.”
