Supreme Court To Rule on Key Immigration Issue this Summer

May 12, 2017 | Immigration, News

Immigration attorney and North Shore Member, Lakshmi Lashmanan, makes it a point to keep up on the rapidly-changing landscape of immigration law. She reminds us that the Supreme Court is set to rule on whether lying about minor infractions could strip an individual of their U.S. Citizenship.  Chief Justice “Roberts seemed particularly concerned that the government was asserting it could revoke citizenship through criminal prosecution for trivial lies or omissions.”  The Court’s decision will be made near the end of June 2017.
