Tejal S. Desai is an experienced attorney and partner at the law firm of Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC. Tejal represents financial institutions and private investors in all facets of loan origination, loan workouts, enforcement of remedies under loan documents, contested Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, lien priority disputes, title disputes, and mechanic’s lien litigation. She also represents contractors and developers in a variety of matters including construction disputes under the Illinois Mechanics Lien Act. In addition to her extensive litigation practice, Tejal handles commercial real estate sales, acquisitions, leasing and corporate transactions nationwide advising on purchase agreement and lease negotiations, due diligence issue spotting and resolution, title clearance and underwriting issues, transaction closing and dispute resolution. Tejal is licensed to practice law in Illinois, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Indiana.
