Zisl (pronounced Zeesil) Edelson is an elder law, special needs, and estate planning attorney in Skokie, Illinois. She provides clients with personalized advice and services including revocable (living) trusts, irrevocable trusts, Medicaid asset protection trusts, third-party special needs trusts, first-party (OBRA)trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and Medicaid planning services. As an elder law and special needs attorney, she frequently advises individuals and their loved ones facing serious health challenges, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke, developmental disabilities, and mental illnesses including bi-polar, anxiety, major depression, and addiction issues. She is the co-chair of the American Bar Association Elder Law Section and is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section Council. Zisl also holds memberships in the Chicago Bar Association, the Chicago Estate Planning Council, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Zisl graduated from the University of Chicago Law School and Graduate School of Business and attended Sarah Lawrence College.
